We then visit Hanoi Cathedral, as known as Saint Joseph’s Cathedral, which was inaugurated on Christmas Day 1886 after 2-year-constructing. Its design is similar to the architecture of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Many catholic rituals have been held there. A ritual ceremony dedicated to Jesus Christ is held in this cathedral every year on March 19th.
At 6.30 AM, head to Hoan Kiem Lake and join in exercise activities with local people. There are some groups practicing Tai Chi, some groups dancing and some groups doing aerobics. You can join with them if you’re interested.
Then taste some popular local breakfast such as “pho ga” (noodle soup with chicken), “pho bo” (noodle soup with beef), “banh cuon” (steamed nice paper rolling pancake), etc. Enjoy kinds of popular beverage in the morning of Vietnamese such as coffee or iced green tea with lemon.
